Dr. Matthew Prezioso grew up in Southington, CT and graduated from Southington High School in 2011. He went on to
attend Wesleyan University graduating with a B.A. in Biology while playing on the men's lacrosse team. After
Wesleyan, Dr. Prezioso continued his education at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and
received his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2019. Following graduation, he chose to complete a year of advanced
education in general dentistry at the Tibor Rubin VA Medical Center in Long Beach California.
During his time in dental school, Dr. Prezioso volunteered each year at the Connecticut Mission of Mercy which
provides free dental care to underserved members of the community who do not have regular access to care. In 2018 he
completed a five day service trip to the island of Grenada, where he and his fellow classmates provided dental care
to underserved children and adults under the supervision of UConn dental faculty. During his senior year he received
the American Prosthodontic Society Award for his clinical work in prosthodontics. While in residency, Dr. Prezioso
received advanced training in complex esthetic cases, as well as surgical placement and restoration of implants.
Dr. Prezioso is a member of the American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, Greater Dental
Society of Southington, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Prezioso currently resides in Southington, CT. When not in the office he enjoys spending his summers on the golf
course, winters on the ski mountains.
