Dr. Anibal Cardenas is a graduate of the University of San Martin de Porres, where he earned his DDS. Dr. Cardenas went on to attend the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Connecticut Health Center, where he earned both his certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry and Periodontology.
Dr. Cardenas currently serves as the Vice-President of the Connecticut Society of Periodontists. He is also a member of the Hartford Dental Society, Connecticut State Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Cardenas’s philosophy is to practice periodontics and implant dentistry while providing exceptional care using cutting-edge technology and working in a multidisciplinary team approach. His goal is not only to meet, but to exceed his patient’s expectations on their dental care. His expertise ranges from dental implants in the esthetic zone to full-mouth rehabilitation, cosmetic periodontal/implant surgery, bone grafting, gum grafting, and periodontal disease treatment.
Dr. Cardenas enjoys photography and hiking different trails in New England in his spare time.
